PATRICK Hickey carded 43 points to win Division 2 and claim the overall best score at Cirensester Seniors’ first monthly stableford competition of 2015.
The competition delivered some very good scores on a blustery day. In total there were 65 entries but Hickey won out with a very consistent round, scoring nine pars which resulted in a handicap reduction of 2.1.
Peter Knight had the second highest score of 42 points, scoring six pars and putting together a very consistent round to beat Division 2 third place competitor Alan McDonald by six points.
In Division 1 Mike Bishop scored two birdies to return a card of 40 points followed by John Morris and Nigel Curtis each with 37 points. They were followed by Rodney Williams and John Parsons each with 36 points.
