SWINDON Ladies had to come from a goal down in their match with Salisbury to claim a 3-1 success in Premier 2A.

The visitors took the lead in the 20th minute following a comedy of errors in the Swindon defence.

However, the hosts hit back soon afterwards when a short corner from Chloe Lewis picked out Gemma Scrase, who fed Angela Cooke to score.

Swindon then made it 2-1 when Lynsey Wall found the target.

In the final 10 minutes of the match, some good play from Linda Brouwers, Lewis and Scrase set Adriana Boullosa free to complete the scoring, while Charlie Wilson was named player of the match.

Swindon’s men were also victorious as they defeated Bristol and West 4-2 in Conference North.

Thomas Lentschner opened the scoring for the hosts in the opening five minutes as Swindon took a 1-0 lead into the interval.

After the break, Rob Riddell bagged a brace, while Luke Cejer netted a well-taken goal to hand Swindon victory, while Bristol grabbed two late goals.
