LORIS Taylor insists that Swindon can beat any team in the EPL after gaining three points out of four at Basingstoke and Guildford.

Wildcats have impressed in their last two contests against the sides that currently sit second and third respectively in the table.

And 19-year-old Taylor is adamant that his team have nothing to fear from any outfit off the back of those results, ahead of this weekend’s double-header with MK L*****ing.

“Winning at Guildford and going to overtime at Basingstoke should give us the confidence to beat any team,” said Taylor.

“It’s going to be one of those teams at the top of the league, they are the main contenders, so getting points against them is one of the best things you can do.

“The way we’ve played against every team so far, we can beat any team in the league. Playing MK is just like playing any other team.

“I haven’t seen their line-up so I’m going in there pretty much completely blind, but we’ve got the talent and the confidence to beat them.”

Swindon have now beaten Guildford on both occasions they have faced them this campaign, following Wednesday’s narrow 5-4 win.

And forward Taylor was delighted to be a part of the first Swindon side to win at the Spectrum in a number of years.

He said: “We had a bit of a panic at the end and they scored a couple of goals, but it was good to win against a tough team and we’ve turned them over twice now.

“(Aaron Nell) was saying in the changing room before the game that he hadn’t won there yet, and neither had I because I have played while he has.

“It’s good to turn over a team this strong with this much money so they can do what they want, and in this building which is a tough building to play in.”
