ADAM Harding has waved goodbye to Swindon Wildcats to join Elite League outfit Manchester Storm next season.

The 23-year-old has been with the Link Centre side for the last three season before being handed the opportunity to make the step up following a successful loan spell earlier in the year.

Harding said: “I've really enjoyed my three years at Swindon and experienced lots of ups and downs, but for the most part, it’s been ups.

“I was fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the Storm in Britain’s top division when I played in a couple of games for them last season, and when I was offered the chance to prove myself at a higher level, I couldn’t turn it down.

“The support from the fans (at Wildcats) has grown over the years and it’s an amazing club and organisation to play for.

“I’d also like to give big thanks to my team mates from the last three seasons too. I've played with some amazing players and had a great time in the locker room and on the ice with all three squads that we had at the club.”

Cats player/coach Aaron Nell added: It's great he's getting an opportunity in the Elite League.

"Hards leaves with our best wishes and the door is always open for a return to Swindon in the future."
