SWINDON College Old Boys head coach Mark Lea has said that having new sponsors Pebley Beach on board shows the ambition of the club.

It has been a successful campaign for College, having secured a second place finish in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Premier division with one game remaining and making it all the way to the South West Division Senior Vase Regional Final.

Now Lea’s side have capped off their year by announcing that Pebley Beach will be their main sponsor for next season.

With a new ground at Wichelstowe on the horizon the investment will prove vital in College taking the next step forward in their development.

“Pebley Beach is a fantastic move for Swindon College Old Boys,” said Lea.

“Our outgoing sponsor lead Boss have been fantastic and will continue to be involved, but having Pebley beach also onboard shows the ambition of the club for the foreseeable future.

“They will become very important as we move towards our new club house and base and there really are some exciting times ahead for this club and players want to be part of it.”

For Pebley Beach, the deal means the company logo emblazoned on the shirts of yet another local sports team, but also the opportunity to support another of the town’s key clubs.

“People will know that we already sponsor Swindon Town Football Club, the Swindon Robins speedway team, and the Swindon Wildcats ice hockey team, but we’re also involved with grassroots sports like the Wroughton Bowls Club,” said Pebley Beach Managing Director Dominic Threlfall.

“We’re excited to be involved with Swindon College Old Boys at this exciting time, and wish them all the best in the forthcoming season.”
