CHISELDON'S Jonny May has retained his place in England's starting line-up for Saturday's crunch Rugby World Cup clash against Australia at Twickenham.
Former Royal Wootton Bassett RFC youngster May, who scored a try during last weekend's 28-25 defeat to Wales, remains on the left wing, with head coach Stuart Lancaster naming Bath's Jonathan Joseph at outside centre and demoting Sam Burgess to the bench for a match England must win to progress in the tournament.
Joseph has recovered from the pectoral muscle injury that ruled him out of the defeat by Wales and will resume his partnership with Brad Barritt, who is restored to his more accustomed position in the number 12 jersey.
Owen Farrell has been retained at fly-half - George Ford continues on the bench - with Burgess set to reprise the role of second-half impact replacement that he played against Fiji.
