BROADCASTERS Sky Sports have opted to axe Swindon Robins’ trip to Poole Pirates tomorrow from their schedule.
The Robins’ meeting at the Elite League table-toppers was due to be broadcast live but with the clash at Wimborne Road looking in doubt due to Wednesday’s weather forecast, Sky have announced that they will instead be televising King’s Lynn Stars’ meeting against the Coventry Bees.
The Met Office is forecasting heavy rainfall in Poole from around 11am to 8pm tomorrow.
The Robins’ meeting at the Pirates is due to get underway at 7.30pm, with Alun Rossiter’s side hosting King’s Lynn on Thursday and travelling to Coventry on Friday.
