SWINDON Robins will open their Elite League campaign with a home clash against Eastbourne Eagles on April 2.
The club, beaten play-off semi finalists in 2006 and 2008 and runners-up in 2007, officially open their season with their 60th anniversary celebration meeting at Blunsdon on Sunday, March 15.
But the serious business starts for Alun Rossiter's side, including skipper Leigh Adams and British star Simon Stead, when they kick off their season in earnest with a Knockout Cup tie at home to Wolverhampton on March 26.
