ONCE again it's been a whirlwind week inside the Supporters' Trust.

As you may have read, we recently hit the 1000 member mark and we now intend to push on and increase that membership by targeting the young families of Swindon, who represent the future of our great football club.

Incidentally, a huge thanks must go to the backroom team including Trust Members Vikki, Nic, Fiona, Teresa, Dave, Alex and Simon who have worked to ensure that 20,000 "Support your local team" leaflets were separated and boxed, labelled, and distributed around the Borough to all Primary Schools.

We are working hard and trying different things to entice people back to the County Ground, learning lessons along the way – so please bear with us. I can assure you that all memberships will be processed and welcome emails will be sent out ASAP.

We followed up the leaflet launch by having our monthly meeting with Steve Anderson (Swindon Town General Manager) and Adam Wainwright (Marketing).

These meetings are always very inspiring and encouraging, however this week's meeting was even more so, as we were joined by Lee Power.

Obviously, Lee has a hectic schedule and although we've come close on a couple of occasions, this was our first meeting. It was reassuring to note that he was up to speed with the work of the Trust, and fully behind our initiatives.

As well as the schools promotion, we talked through the findings from the recent Trust member survey. The survey pre-dated the recent ticket packs announced by the club, however many respondents had been calling for them and the club have delivered.

It’s a fabulous concept and deserves overwhelming support, watching great football for as little as £15 a match, so please encourage all of your friends to take action and pick up a pack now. If each reader of this column can convince just one person to get back to the ground, we'll all start to see the benefit.

Your Club, Your Trust.
