It was fantastic to see Town fan Jay Collett’s mosaic idea come to life at Wembley, and the atmosphere at kick-off was great, but obviously we were all disappointed at the end of the day.

When all is said and done, it was a positive season which few of us had expected and our young team gave us many exciting moments along the way.

Regardless, we must look forwards, and next season is going to be very interesting, with lots of new faces set to join the ranks. We bid a sad farewell to Ben Gladwin and Massimo Luongo, but we’ve every confidence that the Swindon Town management team will discover and bring through a new set of exciting players, and that next season we will be challenging for promotion once again.

The new kit was launched last week, and once again it looks superb. We’ve switched supplier this year, and this is sure to be another hit. For those of you that haven’t seen it - be sure to check out the Adver’s mock-ups of some of the players wearing it in the story they put online last week.

Coming up this month, Highworth Town Juniors FC are holding an event in the Legends Lounge at Swindon Town. Please show your support for this excellent local club, as it promises to be a very enjoyable evening out.

The event is titled The Legends Return and is being held on Friday June 19, featuring Fraser Digby and Micky Hazard, along with funnyman Matt Green and the guest speaker Shaun Hodgetts.

Tickets are are priced at £20 each, with tables of 8 for just £150. They are available online from the Highworth Town Juniors website or every Saturday Morning from their Juniors Club shop, with £1 from each ticket sale going to TrustSTFC.

In other news, Our Trust architect is busily working on the plans for Stratton Bank ready for the club, council and residents to consider, and the Red Army Fund preparations are progressing well, so please watch this space.

We hope to be speaking with the club soon on plans for next Season, as we’re especially keen for fans to support the Club in improving the match day experience, and raising attendances.

Lots to look forward to.

Your Club, Your Trust.
