SCUNTHORPE United boss Mark Robins is remaining tight-lipped over his apparent interest in Andy Williams as speculation over the former Swindon Town striker’s next club continues to mount.
Williams, 28, was released by Town after the conclusion of the League One season and has been linked with a number of clubs, the Iron foremost among them.
Bradford City and Doncaster Rovers are also believed to be interested in securing Williams’ services.
Irons boss Robins told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: “I don’t comment on any speculation. We will carry on our work behind the scenes and everything will be revealed at the appropriate moments.
“We will be doing some more business in the next few weeks. More players are back off holiday now so we will be able to move forward.”
