STRIKER Jermaine Hylton and midfielder Yaser Kasim are both expected to be fit to feature for Swindon Town as they continue their pre-season friendly programme away at Petersfield Town tomorrow.

The duo sat out the 3-1 defeat away at National League North side Solihull Moors on Tuesday night through illness and injury respectively but should be fully recovered to make the trip to Hampshire tomorrow afternoon.

Youngster Will Randall also returned to training in the week and Town boss Mark Cooper has no other injury concerns to worry about ahead of the game.

Petersfield manager Ian Saunders says his troops are relishing the challenge of going toe-to-toe with Swindon again, with the Robins facing off against the newly-promoted Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central outfit for the second year in a row.

Swindon were 5-2 winners when the two sides went head to head during pre-season 12 months ago and battle will resume at Petersfield’s Love Lane home, with kick-off at 3pm.

Boss Saunders said: “It is fantastic that Swindon Town have chosen to come to play us for the second year running – it really shows how our club is progressing that we are able to attract this calibre of opposition.

“It is a good test for my players against higher ranked opposition to show me what they can do ahead of the new season, as well as showing our supporters what they are capable of as well.

“Last season the game proved to be perfect in our pre-season preparations and look what both clubs went on to achieve after playing each other, so let’s hope it has a similar effect for both sides in the forthcoming season.

“I would like to see as many of our supporters there on the day as possible so that my players have their fantastic support and backing again.”

Cooper is expected to take a full squad to Hampshire as Swindon look to claim the first pre-season victory of the summer.

Town kicked off their summer friendly programme with a 2-1 defeat at Southern League side Swindon Supermarine before being swept aside 4-0 by Premier League outfit Everton at the County Ground last Saturday.

Swindon will take on further top-flight opposition at home on Tuesday night in the shape of Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa.

Tickets for the Petersfield game cost £5 for adults and £3 concessions (under-16s and OAPs).
