FORMER Swindon Town striker Nile Ranger has written a public apology to his previous clubs, including those at the County Ground, and current team-mates.
Ranger, 24, cited the death of two close friends for the reason behind the post on social media on Monday night and admitted that he had ‘taken things for granted’ in the past.
The forward is still under contract at Blackpool and, despite being told by manager Neil McDonald that he has no future at the club, has been pictured recently training by himself.
Ranger hasn’t featured for Blackpool since November last year but hopes that he will be given the chance to ‘live the dream’ of playing professional football again.
