ADI Viveash has indicated he is not interested in becoming the next Swindon Town manager at this time, according to Advertiser sources.

The 47-year-old was installed as favourite to succeed head coach Luke Williams, who was relieved of his Town duties last Friday, by Skybet, following his own departure from Chelsea's academy at the weekend.

Viveash, who made nearly 70 appearances for Town in two spells between 1989-95 and 2003-04, had been with the Blues since 2008 but moved on after changes to Chelsea's academy structure.

His successful spell with the club saw him help Chelsea to two FA Youth Cup wins and two successes in the U21 Champions League.

He was priced as short as 1/2 by Skybet for the County Ground role at one stage over the weekend, but the Adver understands that the Swindon-born man is not interested in returning to the club at the current time.

The odds on another former Town man, Chris Ramsey, who is currently technical director at Championship Queens Park Rangers, have tightened to 3/1, with ex-Leeds United boss Steve Evans also receiving backing at 9/1.
