SWINDON Town have this afternoon confirmed that first team coach Ross Embleton has left the club.
The Advertiser reported last week that the former Bournemouth youth team manager had left alongside head coach Luke Williams following the club’s relegation from League One.
The County Ground side has now confirmed that Embleton, along with sports scientist Michael Cooper, are no longer at the club.
Town said in a statement on their official website: “Swindon Town can confirm that both Ross Embleton and Mike Cooper have left their respective roles at the football club with immediate effect.
“First-Team Coach Embleton and Sports Scientist Cooper have joined Head Coach Luke Williams in leaving Town following the club’s relegation to the Sky Bet League Two.
“We would like to wish both Ross and Mike the very best of luck for the future.”
