One to watch - Marek Stech

It’s rare to have a goalkeeper as a man to watch out for but the Luton Town stopper has already made an impact on League Two.

The Czech stopper first made the move to England in 2006, where he joined West Ham for an undisclosed fee, but failed to make an appearance for the Hammers.

Having spent the last three seasons at Sparta Prague, the club who he began his career with, the 27-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Hatters in the summer upon the expiry of his contract.

He made his debut on the opening day of the season, saving a penalty in the 8-2 romp over Yeovil Town and heads into today’s game after his third clean sheet already this term, earning him a place in the League Two team of the week last weekend after shutting out Lincoln City.

Key battle - Olly Lancashire v James Collins

Lancashire will be looking to return with a bang this week following the birth of his child.

The central defender put into his own net against Crawley Town and then was responsible for giving away a penalty against Barnet last Saturday, before leaving at half-time to be by his wife’s side.

Former Town striker Collins turned a few heads in the summer when he moved from Crawley on a three-year deal.

He has already started repaying the faith shown in him with five goals to his name.

Lancashire has the ability to keep the 6’2’’ striker quiet and that will be key to building the foundations for success at Kenilworth Road.
