SWINDON Town goalkeeper Will Henry has been called up to the England U20s squad for the first time for their fixtures against Italy and the Czech Republic next month.

Henry has previously featured in England squads at U19 level but this marks his maiden selection by boss Keith Downing for the U20 age group.

The 19-year-old has featured just once for Town this season during the 3-2 Checkatrade Trophy defeat at home to West Ham United U21s in August and is currently on loan at Dunstable Town in the Southern League Premier Division.

Downing has named a 21-man group for the impending fixtures, which starts with a trip to Gorgonzola to face Italy on Thursday, October 5.

They will then return to St. George’s Park for their second game of the international week against the Czechs on Tuesday 10 October.
