FORMER Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has offered his managerial experience to Yeovil Town.

Speaking on BT Sport, the 70-year-old said he would be open to an advisory role working alongside a young manager.

“What I wouldn’t mind doing is going in with a young manager somewhere and going in a couple of days a week to help out,” he said. “Up the road from me at Yeovil, if the young manager (Darran Way) there rang me, I don’t want any money for it.”

  • CARLISLE United boss Keith Curle says the club could afford to strengthen after revealing Leyton Orient are making a considerable contribution to Mark Ellis’ wage during his loan spell.

The 29-year-old defender joined the National League side on a two-month deal at the end of last week.

  • WYCOMBE Wanderers have made an addition to their squad, signing former Chelsea goalkeeper Yves Ma-Kalambay on a short-term deal.

Ma-Kalambay has joined the club following his release from Romanian side Otelul Galati, who he left in 2015 after making two league appearances.

The 31-year-old stopper will link up with Gareth Ainsworth’s side until January 29 and will serve as back-up to Scott Brown.
