ADY Williams took just three minutes to make an impact on his return from injury as Town's reserves were held to a 2-2 draw by Cheltenham Town at The County Ground this afternoon.
Club captain Williams, who is assisting Town's acting manager Dave Byrne following the departure of Paul Sturrock, started a game for the first time since sustaining a knee injury in February.
And the centre-back rose to head in Chris Allen's corner after just three minutes before being replaced at half-time.
Town fielded 15-year-old goalkeeper Callum Antell after an injury to youth team keeper Mark Scott and he impressed, but was beaten on 37 minutes with Ben Gill netting.
Reading recruit Adam Everiss put Town ahead again in the second half before striker Guy Madjo fired past Antell to square matters in injury time.
