ANTHONY McNamee insists he never doubted his own ability to dazzle League One defences and has promised Town fans you ain't seen nothing yet'.

The winger turned in another mesmerizing display on Saturday to help Town crush play-off chasing Oldham 3-0 and all but banish their relegation fears.

Simon Cox will grab all the headlines with his emphatic two-goal return to form but it was McNamee who turned on the style to help ease the pressure on an under-fire Maurice Malpas.

After just one win in 10 Town's second half super show was needed, with Lee Peacock starting the rout, to put a comfortable seven-point gap between themselves and the drop zone.

Since his January arrival from Watford, McNamee has slowly been finding his feet at the County Ground but he was quick to assure all Town fans he still has plenty more to come. He laid on the opening two goals against a demoralised Oldham and by the end had the home faithful on their feet everyone time he touched the ball.

He said: "I think we all enjoyed that. I never doubted I would get there even though in the first few games I was just coming back from injuries and I had to find my feet.

"It did kill me for a bit at Watford because I just was not getting a game. I was coming on as substitute and there was a period when I did not even make the bench. That was tough and it has taken me a while to get over that.

"I knew my game would come, I was just worried about when it would come. I was just praying it would come before the end of the season.

"There's a lot more to come. I have not hit my peak yet, nowhere near it to be honest."
