YASER Kasim goes back to Macclesfield Town to face his former club in the FA Cup this weekend, and the midfielder has told the local media about his time at Moss Rose.

Kasim played five times for the Silkmen last season in the Skrill Premier on loan from Brighton.

"It was quite brief but it was good in a way because I had to get away from Brighton for a bit. It was alright, it was a bit of an odd experience," said the Iraqi.

"They tried to play football, which is tough in that league.

"There's quite a bit of pressure on certain clubs (in that league) and Macclesfield have got a few good players and that's why they can cause an upset."
