Laughably polite
The Adver never fails to inform, but often knowingly or not, also manages to amuse.
Re the article on Thursday, March 20, ‘Royal Wootton Bassett Drug Suspicion’: “Officers could smell drugs but could not find any. The car and occupants were asked to leave the area and not return.”
Is this then the latter day equivalent of running the bad hombres out of town? Guess it must be but I don’t recall Marshall Wyatt Earp ever being quite so polite! More PC?
