ONE year ago my daughter Bethany was in the Special Care Baby Unit at GWH.
I will never forget how well she was looked after by the nurses and doctors there. They carry out a very difficult job with professionalism and care and I can’t thank them enough.
I would also like to thank Sophie, the midwife who delivered my daughter in the White Horse birth centre; and the nurses and midwives on Hazel Ward who looked after me so well.
The NHS gets a lot of criticism but what would we do without it? I think it’s time to start being grateful for what we have.
