To reply to the letter from Martin Webb, I would offer the following observations.

First, I would ask him to read the UKIP brochures, he will see it is not vulgarity. It is the plain open truth on the current situation in this country.

Workers who come here from other EU countries and have a job and housing will always be welcome and be good for the country. Those who come into the country by means of either applying for asylum or what is now the direct route, either a container or lorry, then they are not welcome – they have no income, they have no housing and are dependent on benefits.

If Mr Webb finds that vulgar, then that is fact. We are not the basket case of the world, although those now in France, doing their best to get into this country, think we are.

He mentions about a strike for migrant workers, well how about a strike for tax payers who are fed up feeding the world?

If the likes of Mr Webb ever get into control of this country, the Labour open back door policy on immigration would be a joke to what they would allow.

Here is a teaser for him to answer. Those people from Goa, who are now living in this country and indeed in this town, as that country is not a member of the EU, how do they get in so easily? Can I assume it is a point of issue about Portugese passports? Yet another fiddle in the immigration fiasco.

Finally, how many of these migrants or plain asylum seekers is he funding the moment?
