I will be honest, I have read some misguided efforts at hypocritical nonsense and deceit in my time, but the latest from Steve Thompson, (Adver, November 13) surpasses them all.
I quote his remarks: “The UKIP party are boring extremists with their lies and misinformation”. I think that suit fits him better than mine. I think his pretentious, unfounded remarks regarding the UKIP party and its members and supporters are a total affront to common sense and the patriotic enthusiasm that their policies have brought to the public dimension.
I am not a betting man, because if you go into a betting shop car park and spot a Mercedes it won’t be the punters’. I shall break a golden rule. I predict that this week UKIP will win Rochester and Strood. Regarding certain remarks about the United Kingdom Independence Party whistling in the wind, my personal opinion is that it will turn into a hurricane in this week’s by- election, then a tornado at the General Election.
In conclusion, I have noticed that I already face a tripod of these misguided individuals, plus more. Bring it on, gentlemen. The truth always comes out.
