The Farepak Hampers fiasco is an absolute disgrace for this Government. People saving up for a Christmas hamper in 2006 have still not received a penny.
To think that working class people should lose their hard earned cash through no fault of their own is shocking.
They are now offered 5p in the pound and even that is uncertain.
This Government can find money to waste on ID cards, Olympic Games and wars in far-off countries. Why can't they find the money to compensate the hard-working Farepak savers who did absolutely nothing wrong?
