REGARDING your articles and notices ref public open spaces (Pickards Field) which is to be disposed of for residential development.
As you may or may not know there has been meetings regarding this open space land, both with the HAB Housing and concerned individuals and a petition of householders in the area and the general consensus of residents in the Ferndale and Gorse Hill location is that this project should not go ahead as the road/traffic/parking system and essential services and ammenities are not suitable for the proposed high density development.
The proposed development should be squashed and under the public open spaces this land should be kept for recreational purposes and as an amenity for the area.
