TOGETHER with many others I welcome any reduction in parking charges.
However I think that the proposed reduction in charges for the Old Town area would certainly benefit traders more, if the first 20 minutes were free, then maybe £1 for the first hour, and a further £1 for every hour after this. Most of my shopping is done in a very short time. It seems expensive to add at least £1, if I only need one or two items.
