HALF of the young unemployed are suffering mental health problems. There are nearly a million people aged 16 to 25 unemployed.

In a survey by the Princes Trust almost half the young unemployed had such problems such as selfharm and insomnia.

Unfortunately British economy does not need these young people. They are surplus to the long term requirements of the British economy. They are the lost generation.
