WHAT a sad sign of the times, the closing of the Retreat Spa in Stratton was very sad, they had a wonderful programme of therapies and great staff, their only problem was that they spent so much on top of the line equipment and creating a wonderful atmosphere that their overheads must have been too high to sustain the business economically, very sad, but in these harsh economic times what a wonderful opportunity for an entrepreneur to buy or lease the spa and run it with lower overheads.
