Hi again guys - had a busy couple of weeks as have lots of news!
First of all, on Sunday my Mum, my sister, my best friend and I took part in the Race For Life. This race means a lot to me, due to the fact that if it wasn’t for the research into cancer, I wouldn’t be here today. It was a lovely day for it, and I saw a lot of friends there as well, supporting others. If anybody is interested in helping us reach our target of £250 our JustGiving page is http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/beths-bombalongs Anything would be much appreciated!
Talking of a nice day, the weather around here has been great recently; highs of 20 degrees in some places – which is amazing for England! Make the most of it while it lasts – hopefully quite a while!
School has been good recently as I have been appointed head girl for year 11. I have started work on that already by organising the year 6 induction days which has been fun. There’s only 7 weeks left until the end of school – which I’m sure everyone is excited about at the moment. I know I’m counting down! This academic year has gone so fast, it feels like yesterday I was in year 8...
I, like many others, am looking forward to the holidays, as I have 2 camping holidays to look forward to – one with each side of the family! That should be great fun; I just hope the weather holds out for me. Please!
