Last Saturday after the defeat away to Oldham I had one question that kept running thought my mind and I’m going to ask you the same question, do you think last season just one massive overachieving campaign?

In the end I decided it wasn’t simply because this season I have seen us play as well as we did last season in certain games and if we get more consistent we will start moving higher up the league, with 2 wins in a row in the next few games we could be challenging the top six again.

The biggest problem we have had recently has been the way we start games, we need to have a lot more concentration and stop letting teams get the lead before we even start playing, if we start games with a more attacking mind set and get on the front foot first we sill start picking up more points.

In the past week it was good to see Matt Richie added to the squad on a permanent basis, like most of the first team he has had an up and down season but if he starts more games and gets more experience at this level there is no reason he cant be key to are future success at the club.

With the transfer window still open for the next couple of weeks I hope we see more signings to help us climb the table, I think the general consensus with Town fans has been that we need a new striker and its something Danny Wilson has mentioned as well so hopefully by the time we play Bristol Rovers Charlie Austin will have a new striking partner.

This Saturday we take on relegation threatened Yeovil Town at the County Ground, it should be an interesting day off the pitch as well with the club asking fans to wear there retro shirts to the game, which I think is another good matchday idea the club as come up with recently.

The Yeovil game is the start of 3 massive and winnable games the club has got coming up, with us playing Bristol Rovers and Tranmere Rovers next this needs be the time we start getting more consistent with are performances, but as we know its never as simple as that so the players have to make sure we come away with at least 6 points from these next 3 games to get us moving and start improving are league position.
