JOHN Ivan Kenneth Passed away peacefully on 21st September 2020 with his loved ones by his side, aged 71 years. A loving partner, father, grandfather and friend to many. Ivan will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A private family funeral will be held, however the funeral cortege will pass the Kingsdown Pub at approximately 14:05pm on Tuesday 13th October. With great sadness I stood outside the Kingsdown Arms with Mickey Brown to see the hearse carrying Ivan to the crematorium as we were unable to attend the funeral. I played rugby with Ivan and Mickey until we were too old to play, and then we played bowls until the terrible disease hit Ivan. Ivan was great fun to be with and I attach a photograph from 1984 showing Ivan, myself and Mickey during a camping holiday in western France. Farewell my friend, I will always cherish fond memories of you. John Wilks
