A new season, a new dance floor - there should be no reason NOT to get your dance shoes on this Spring at Highworth Recreation Centre?
The first evening ballroom dance of the season starts at 8pm every third Sturday of the month. The new floor is going to be a big hit with the dancers who have had to endure the last few months fox-trotting and tango-ing over the lifting parquet floor blocks. "You had to be quick on your feet not to miss the beat or the blocks" commented one dancer! The new floor has made the hall feel brighter and lighter and even if you don't dance - once you see the open space it makes you feel like you want to whirl and twirl your way through the sequence dances and cha cha to your hearts content! The dances are held on the third Saturday of every month and cost £4.00 per person. A licensed bar is open too. Dance ends at 11pm. There is usually a raffle for a local cause. Doors open at 7.30pm
