GAYLE HARPER (Ieft), 39, a beauty trainer and therapist, tells us about her life with food
Do you cook a lot yourself? What is your failsafe dish?
Yes, I love to cook although prefer to cook for more than one. MY favourite dish is pan fried seabass with sweet potato and mango mash and Asian greens with a chilli and soy sauce dressing.
Where do you like to eat out? How often?
I love to eat out and always seek to try a new restaurant or new dish to ring the changes.
What do you always hope to find on a menu? For starter? Main course? Dessert?
Nothing specific. I’d rather try something new and test my tastebuds.
Which foods did you hate as a child? Do you eat them now?
I couldn’t stand olives or gherkins, but now I love both.
What’s your favourite drink?
Green tea with a squeeze of fresh lemon as it’s packed full of antioxidants and not caffeine rich.
Marmite: yes or no?
Yes
What’s your guilty pleasure when it comes to food...something you know you shouldn’t eat, but do anyway?
Sticky toffee pudding with double cream (oh, and the pudding has to be warmed up and the cream nice and cold!)
You are eating a bacon sandwich... ketchup, brown sauce or nothing at all?
It has to be brown sauce.
