Poor Ferne McCann was full of nerves and tears as she faced up to yet another Bushtucker Trial on Tuesday night, this time taking on the Floods of Fear challenge.
When asked why she keeps being voted to do the trials, she told Ant and Dec: “I think it is because I don’t like the trials and I scream, even walking through the camp I scream even if I see a little lizard.”
Ant told her about Floods of Fear: “Underneath where we are stood is a flooded tunnel system, and hidden inside the tunnels are chambers containing 12 stars. However, you should be prepared to come face to face with any wildlife that lives in the water.”
Breaking into tears, Ferne said: “I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, I don’t think I can do it, I am getting myself in a state, the fear of the unknown.”
Ferne braved the cold water, coming face to face with toads, crabs and finally a crocodile. Despite squealing with fright at every turn, Ferne managed to collect an impressive 10 stars, meaning all of her camp mates got a meal.
The TOWIE star’s brave efforts have won her plenty of fans on Twitter.
Love Island’s Josh was quick to share his support.
Previous I’m a Celebrity winner Carl Fogarty sent his congratulations.
Natasha Hamilton commended Ms McCann on her impressive performance.
And finally, from the comfort of Chelsea, Lucy Watson said she found Ferne “hilarious”.
Ferne got some good news for a change at the end of the episode, as Ant and Dec revealed that Brian will be taking on tomorrow’s Bush Tucker Trial.
