Jennifer Lawrence has a take-no-prisoners attitude to her personal relationships, saying she has “zero guilt” about cutting people out of her life.
The 25-year-old revealed she has been taken advantage of since her rise to fame.
She told Entertainment Weekly: “I can speak from personal experience. People start to feel a lot less guilty when you become bigger or have more money.
“I have a very small circle. The moment I feel like someone is using me or is in it for the wrong reasons, I have zero guilt about just cutting them the f*** out of my life.”
She added: “My bulls*** detector is phenomenal. None of my friends bulls*** me. Everything in my life has to be real.”
J-Law has risen rapidly to global fame in the last four years, after starring in the X-Men and Hunger Games movies, as well as Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.
Looking back at spending time with her friends from the Hunger Games cast, she said: “We had the greatest house parties.
“Woody (Harrelson) chased me with a sweaty sock, and we flipped over a couch, and one time Josh (Hutcherson) and Liam (Hemsworth) started playing tug-of-war with their mouths with one of my shirts.
“And it just went on for 10 minutes, and it was so intense.”
On bidding farewell to her co-stars as the franchise comes to an end, she said: “I know it’s the right time, and Josh and Liam and I see each other all the time. Woody sends weird emails, so those things haven’t changed.”
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is in cinemas now.
