After months of speculation about his role in the upcoming Spider-Man film, fans got their first glimpse of Donald Glover with the release of a new trailer.
Spider-Man: Homecoming sees Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and takes the character back to his high-school roots.
On return from his Avengers adventure, Peter struggles to adjust to his teenage routine and new mentor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr).
Community star Donald, who last week released his latest album Awaken, My Love! under his recording name of Childish Gambino, was named as involved in June but his role has remained a secret.
The trailer sees Michael Keaton appear as a new villain, the Vulture, and a glimpse of Donald’s character who is seen standing in a forest area.
His brief appearance delighted fans.
The film is set for release in July in the US.
