COMMUNITY groups and neighbourhoods are being invited to apply for a party fund to help the get into the festive spirit.
As the Christmas party season approaches, The Co-operative Food is setting up a £10,000 party fund for 100 parties nationwide.
Local groups looking to organise festive fun in their village hall, community centre or nursing home can win a party pack full of party essentials for up to 50 people, containing crackers, paper plates, balloons and tablecloths, along with £100 worth of Co-op vouchers to spend on food.
The retailer is looking to find the UK’s most community-spirited parties. The competition runs until November 20. Enter at www.co-operativefood.co.uk/party and say why your community deserves a Christmas party.
