ONE of the most successful stage shows of recent years is rerturning in its latest British incarnation to the Wyvern Theatre.
First performed in New York 16 years ago, Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues rapidly became a near global phenomenon. Audiences in countries across the world have been thrilled, amused and inspired by the play.
On Wednesday an all-new touring version comes to the Wyvern from 7.30pm.
It stars Clare Buckfield of Dancing on Ice and Two Point Four Children fame, Vicky Entwistle – Janice Battersby in Coronation Street – and Hayley Tamaddon, whose credits include Delilah Dingle in Emmerdale.
A Wyvern spokeswoman said of The Vagina Monologues: “An unmissable show for every generation. This is the ultimate girls’ night out… trust us!”
