THEIR bulging biceps might have been under wraps, but The Dreamboys personalities were on full display as they enjoyed a lunch date with Adver competition winner Kim Peniston.

The 41-year-old was in her element after winning the competition, run in conjunction with the Wyvern Theatre, to spend a couple of hours with the cast ahead of their show last night.

And the gents were only too happy to dote on the mum-of-two during the lunch, which was provided by 20 at The Kings... and they soaked up all the attention given to them in return.

We asked readers to tell us what drove them mad about their partner and why they thought they deserved a date with The Dreamboys.

Kim, who works at Swindon College, said she deserved the date as husband Paul is like Victor Meldrew and this was the only chance she would ever have of dating a young, fit guy (or six).

After introductory hugs and kisses with Luke Baker, Ray Teaser, Peter Carter and Rowan Haiduc, the chat and laughter started – and it continued for the next two hours.

While some of the topics under discussion are not suitable to print in a family newspaper, among the more PG-rated were what the boys did before joining the group, the fact they are all actually quite shy and how they want to change the perception of their industry.

“These guys are great,” said Kim, of Rodbourne Cheney. “It’s been a fabulous lunch, everything I thought it would be and more.

“They are so lovely and down to earth, not at all what people might expect from people who take their clothes off for a living.

“They are really friendly and I’ve loved every minute.”

After quizzing the group it was time to wave farewell as they headed back to the Wyvern for last-minute rehearsals ahead of the show, which Kim also won tickets to.

David Richard, Dreamboys manager, said Kim had been amazing.

“It’s been a lovely lunch. Kim is like the sister we never had,” he said.

“It’s been lots of fun with some little hints of naughtiness thrown in – and that is absolutely fine in Dream-boy world.”

Laura James, marketing and press officer at the Wyvern, said the date had been a huge success.

“We are thrilled that The Dream-boys have been able to do this, they are such lovely guys.

“Everyone who meets them falls in love with them.”

She also thanked Darren and Vicky Turner, of 20 at The Kings, for providing lunch for the group.

“It is a wonderful restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. It is lovely to be here.”

Kim's winning entry

“I soooo deserve to win this date because I am married to Victor Meldrew (take a minute to think what that must be like, day in, day out!)

"So getting to spend an hour with lovely young men, who don’t have anything to whinge and moan about would be Heaven and let’s face it, I’m no young, goodlooking, model type, so this is the only chance I would ever have of dating a young fit guy (or even six!)”
