THREE men accused of robbing Deacon and Son Jewellers, in Marlborough, are set to appear before Swindon Crown Court this morning.
Marcus Delroy Jeremiah Cohen, 33, of no fixed address; Paul Gallimore, 33, of Rugby Road, Coventry; and Linton Daren Summerfield, 20, of Bushberry Avenue, Coventry, are jointly charged with stealing an estimated £130,000 worth of jewellery, watches and cash in a robbery on Tuesday, September 17.
Gallimore is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon, a crowbar, at Deacon and Son Jewellers on September 17.
The incident ended on the A419 in Swindon when a car, allegedly carrying the men, crashed into a lorry and the suspects fled into land behind Great Western Hospital.
At a previous hearing at Chippenham Magistrates’ Court last month the three men were not asked to plead.
Prosecutor Pauline Lambert said two other men were wanted by police for the alleged offence. The three were remanded in custody.
