Bad boys of music never go out of fashion and Rat Pack Live recreates the original cool dudes of Sammy Davis Jnr, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin strutting their stuff Las Vegas style.

The show is based on the antics of the trio, who were dubbed the kings of swing in the 1950s and 1960s, and features hits such as New York New York, That’s Amore, Mr Bojangles, Ain’t That A Kick In The Head, Mambo Italiano and I’ve Got You Under My Skin.

Taking on the role of the terrible threesome are Jim Whitely as Sammy, Richard Shelton as Frank and Mark Halliday as Dean. They are bringing the glitzy show to Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre on Sunday, November 10.

Jim is best known as the former Manchester City footballer who also played as an international for Northern Ireland. As a child he was a choir boy and also played the flute. When his football career was cut short due to injury he was persuaded by his brother in law to audition for the play Naked Truth, and won the part of Nat King Cole. He went on to play Sammy in the West End Rat Pack.

Richard, the evil Dr Adam Forsythe in ITV’s Emmerdale, became Frank in Rat Pack Confidential in the West End and has also sung before Prince Charles, and Elton John, as a solo singer. Dean Martin was portrayed by Mark in the West End before taking to the road in this production of Rat Pack Live.
