THE Recycling Centre in Cheney Manor has been closed once again following last week's fire.
The blaze, which broke out at Swindon Skips on Wednesday evening, is still causing low lying smoke in the area, and Swindon Council have tweeted this morning that the centre has been closed until further notice.
The fire was fuelled by 750 tonnes of building and timber recycling material but, once it had been contained to one part of the site, it was allowed to burn itself out.
