GORSE HILL: Between 1am and 1.10am on New Year’s Day, a man was walking alone along Whitehouse Road by St Mark’s Park when he was assaulted by a man who tried to drag him into an alleyway. Two men and a woman came to the victim’s aid and the suspect left the area. The suspect was in his mid 20s, 5’6 to 5’7 tall, with a stocky build, wearing a charcoal coloured jacket, and grey tracksuit bottoms.
