THERE will be plenty of corny jokes, raunchy plots and sexual innuendo when adult panto Screwge comes to the Wyvern.
Once again, The Market Theatre Company will take a traditional story and distort it almost beyond recognition, all in the name of entertainment.
The performance, which is from 7.30pm tomorrow, will see the cast performing a new twist on A Christmas Carol.
A spokesman for the theatre company said: “This year’s adult panto is an irreverent re working of Charles Dickens wonderful A Christmas Carol.
“We apologise in advance to any Dickens fans who may take offence and we will fully understand if afterwards you prefer the original – Oh, no you won’t! Oh, perhaps you will.
“It’s full of the usual sexual innuendo and corny gags.”
