SWINDON: Fit volunteers helped to raise more than £700 after cycling the equivalent of six times round the Gambia in the comfort of Kiss Gym.
The fundraising effort, which took place from 8am to 8pm during four days, was for local charity Empower, which was raising money for a project to open a nursery in the Gambia, West Africa. People can still donate to the cause. Visit www.facebook.com/EmpowertheGambia.
