WILTSHIRE: Wiltshire Council’s Funding Future Olympians and Paralympians Grant is now open for applications.
The local authority is working with businesses to support rising sports stars by enabling them to pay for training and equipment and covering transport costs to regional and national events. The council will allocate a total of £5,000 to elite athletes, but hopes that business partners will chip in to increase the sum.
