PENHILL: Time banking is allowing communities to come together and help each other in Penhill and Taw Hill. The time bank projects encourage people to give up an hour of their time to volunteer with an organisation or support a group or individual. In return, they are asked to spend an hour helping others in their community.
The aim of the scheme is to build a network of people who give and receive support from each other, enabling residents from different backgrounds, who may not otherwise meet, to come together. To get involved email lou@swindonvolunteers.org.uk or carol@swindonvolunteers.org.uk or call 01793 420557.
