A MAN and a woman are sought by police over a series of thefts of meat across the county.
The pair are pictured in CCTV images shared with the Adver by Wiltshire Police in a bid to net offenders for unsolved crimes.
The couple are suspected of having stolen a large amount of meat to the value of £156 from a Waitrose store in Chippenham at around 12.30pm on February 2 but police believe they could be responsible for thefts at other stores, possibly in Swindon.
A spokesman said: “This CCTV is from Waitrose Chippenham but these two are suspected of a series of similar thefts across Wiltshire.”
The suspects are described as a white man, of a big build and with stubble and short hair. He can be seen in the CCTV wearing a black beanie hat and black t-shirt. The woman is described as white, with dark hair tied up and wearing a beige jacket and blue jeans. Anyone with any information should contact the Swindon Crime Management Unit on 101 quoting crime reference number 54140010892.
